I know next to nothing about Tor other than that it was developed by a group in the US Navy.
The fact that it was developed by funding from the DoD alone would make me give a big fat ol’ nope to ever using for anything even remotely sketchy.
I can’t imagine them releasing it for public use without some sort of way to see whats going on.
