  1. Easy Overnight Oatmeal

    1/3 to 1/2 cup liquid such as milk, almond, cashew or coconut milk

    1/3 to 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (NOT quick oats)

    1/3 to 1/2 cup Vanilla yogurt

    1/2 banana, mashed, optional
    You can also add Nestle’s Quick chocolate drink mix, Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate mix, peanut butter powder or cocoa powder, protein powder, maple syrup, or plain old peanut butter and/or jelly. Just get it mixed in there well.

    Stir everything together, mix well, in a glass dish or mug. Cover with tight lid or plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight, at least two hours, 5 or more is better.

    In the morning, top with fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, coconut, maple syrup, etc. whatever you like. (I like strawberries, blueberries and granola, sometimes adding nuts or a bit of cinnamon, if I have them.) Serve cold. Will be very creamy, softer than regular oatmeal. If you want more liquid, just add a little more.

    *Can be warmed in the microwave, if you want it hot. Microwave in one minute increments until you reach desired heat level, then add your fruit, nuts, granola, etc. Do not microwave toppings, they will burn.
