  2. The founders actually tried to create a system that would have prevented a Trump from becoming president by having independent Electoral College voters that weren’t forced to follow the results of their state. While that system had its merits, it was susceptible to corruption.

  3. But… The opposition party doesn’t think it’s the right time, politically, for impeachment to start – so it doesn’t matter that Trump checks all the boxes.

  4. Pelosi’s waiting has been paying off. I’m literally chomping at the bit to get this stuff going, and am surprised at the wave of sentiment growing. With the level of disinformation and propaganda pouring out of extremist right wing media, they must see an imminent risk.

    I wonder if these media outlets and the money behind it all, I wonder if they are going to push for an actual civil war, or if they are pushing for an absolute police state.
